Developingstrongrelationshipswithstudentsandfamilieswasanotherimportantaspectofmyteachingpracticethisyear.Buildingtrustandrapportwithmystudentsallowedthemtofeelcomfortabletakingrisksandmakingmistakes,whichisessentialforlanguagedevelopment.Additionally,communicatingregularlywithfamilieshelpedtoestablishasupportiveandcollaborativelearningenvironment.Thisyear,IsetupaclassWeChatgrouptoshareupdatesandresourceswithfamilies,andImadeanefforttoattendschool-wideeventstoconnectwithstudentsandtheirparents.Iplantocontinuetobuildtheserelationshipsnextyearandfindnewwaystoinvolvefamiliesintheirchild'slearningexperience.
